• Drafting of Legal Documentation and Letters
• Assist the Legal Executive to identify and to solve compliance issues.
• Perform paralegal duties utilizing legal terminology, procedures, and documents.
• Prepare legal papers and correspondence and assist with legal research;
• mail, fax, or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence.
CONTRACTS
• Maintain and update the contract depository, by logging contract requests onto the database.
• Maintaining the database on a regular basis by marking completed overdue contracts.
• Assist in updating Contract templates, contract request forms, registrations forms.
• Liaising with the different business units in terms of contracts procedures and processes, outstanding information etc.
• Reviewing certain contracts and forwarding them to the Legal Executive.
• Provide support to the legal executive in term of draft, Researching, noting relevant legislation and compliance documents for the attention of the Legal Executive.
CIPC
• Assist the Legal Executive with Identifying and effecting all different changes to the various SAICA entities such as; Change of name - Change of main business, Appointment - Resignation of directors, Appointment - Resignation of auditor, Change of registered address, Appointment of secretary, Changes in authorised share Capital, Special Resolutions- amendments to Memorandum of Incorporation, maintaining of minute books & company registers, Annual Returns for Companies & Close Corporate’s
Amendments to Founding Statement (CK2, transfer of member’s interest, Change of name, Change of principal business, Change of year-end), Change of Accounting Officer & Registered Address, Conversions from Close Corporate’s to Company, Electronic Lodgements On CIPC – director changes; annual returns, disclosure certificates, Submitting supporting documents to the department, Liaising with the different entities and members in terms of the above mentioned and Maintaining and keeping records of CIPC related matters and SAICA’s and its entities trademarks
DSD
Assist the Legal Executive with the following.
Filing of Annual returns, liaising with the DSD office, electronic updates and lodgments on the DSD site, updating of office bearers, change of address, contact details etc. on the DSD site and collating, compiling and submitting supporting documents to the department and maintaining and keeping records of DSD related matters.
TRUSTS
Assisting the Legal Executive with the formation and maintaining existing trusts which includes the following; -
Change of trustees, liaising with the different Trustees for completion of Acceptance of Trusteership forms, signing of the trust documents and requests for any other relevant information, forwarding the collated information to the relevant legal person and Monitoring and keeping records of SAICA’s Trusts
Filing and maintaining contract records, creating tracking schedules for contracts, generating PO’s and processing invoices, setting up board and sub committees’ meetings, printing paginating board packs, typing and drafting, legal documentation, monitoring and attending to emails, screening to incoming and outgoing calls, attending to CIPC statutory compliance, booking of flights, accommodation, travel, filing and maintaining contract records, creating tracking schedules for contracts, generating PO’s and processing invoices.
