Career Interests

I have keen interest in the Management which is indeed one of the biggest challenges facing entities (Public and/or Private) today. There are growing production demands with existing machinery and equipment, while continuing to cut costs. I would like to assist organisations in implementing sound Maintenance concepts that can be used in process optimisation. These concepts will include the Quality assurance of new, repaired or modified equipment in the form of trials or testing. My Logistics course afforded me enough knowledge to implement Logistical Support Analysis(LSA) and Life Cycle Costs(LCC) analysis a as method of improvemnent on Reliability, Availability and Maintainability of equipment through Logistics Systems Engineering. I would also like to be involved in programmes involving productivity improvement, intergrated manufacturing systems, Systems and Logistics Engineering. Successful Completion of the Post Graduate Certificate in Industrial Engineering enables me automatic entry into the B-Tech Industrial Engineering Programme. The completion of this Degree will be backed my experience especially in the Logistics Engineering field. It will also amplify my grounding (knowledge) on Process assesment and Improvement methodologies and techniques. I also have keen interests in Technical Projects and would like to acquire more experince in managing or consulting into larger and complex projects. I have completed a B-Tech Degree in Project Management with Tshwane University of Technology. This programme provided me with an opportunity to further broaden my horizon to meet the challenges in the forever changing technical and business environment. As a self confessed public servant, I also completed an Honours Programme in Public Adminstration with Stellenbosch University. The course has enabled to harmonise low level programmes and projects with the high level Goverment objectives and policies without compromising on service delivery. My core competence is vested in my ability to successfully manage a project from start to end providing the desired results within a specified time frame and cost. I also have a technical competence in Maintenance improvement through defect or failure analysis.
