I am a confident and vibrant History & Social Science educator. My passion for teaching is informed by the urgent need to eradicate illiteracy, poverty and many other complex challenges that hinder all South African children from living dignified lives. My career objective is an inevitable response to the dire need for inclusive, quality educators. It is often said that “the quality of any education system cannot surpass the quality of its teachers.” Hence my objective is to immerse myself in the academic and holistic development of all learners, in their diversity. With care and empathy, and through the philosophy of inclusive education efficiently collaborate with fellow colleagues, respective stakeholders, and the communities we serve. I am willing to relocate to wherever the need might be, start immediately.
While running and vested with the roles and responsibilities of the school principal , I was the manager for the Public Relations of the school. I was simultaneously the Life Orientation educator for grade 8 through 12.
This psychology of education research was focused on the social mobility of leaners who are furnished with alternative interventionist education. Whether their families and communities are affected positively towards socio-economic transformation. As a research assistant I facilitaed the interviews and the historiography of the South African context.
