Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and machinery. I have worked with a variety of equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, valves, pumps,gearboxes,motors, and conveyors, among others. My experience has also honed my ability to troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems, and generate effective solutions in a timely manner.

I am skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals, and I possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Additionally, I am familiar with safety regulations and protocols, and I always adhere to best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and I am able to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. I have a strong work ethic and a dedication to achieving high-quality results.

I am a Fitter at I am a Mechanical Fitter at Fuchs Lubricants SA, a leading manufacturer and supplier of lubricants and related products. I have been working in this role for over five years. My main responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment, such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, pneumatics and hydraulics. I also participate in planning and executing shutdowns, ensuring optimal availability and performance of the machines. I have contributed to the quality control of spares and equipment, and the safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards of the plant.

In addition to my practical experience, I have a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently pursuing a degree in this field at UNISA, to enhance my technical knowledge and skills. I have also acquired certificates in Pneumatic and Engineering from reputable institutions. I am proficient in metal fabrication, welding, mechanical drawings, and fault finding. I am committed, versatile, and loyal, and I seek to exhibit my best in every task I undertake. My goal is to continuously learn and grow as a Mechanical Fitter, and to apply my skills and expertise to improve the efficiency and quality of the production processes
