I started working with Steinmuller Africa as a Trade Assistant in 2009. In 2010 I got an opportunity to join the Training Department as a boilermaker Apprentice at Pretoria works. During my Apprentice period I spend most of my time working at manufacturing workshop due to the shortage of men power and that helped me a lot on gaining experience with regard to reading and ilastraghting of drawings, material identification, and we worked on different projects such as: Kusile and Medupi Power Station's side wall , Roofs, Headers, economizers and super heater tubing's etc.

The year 2015 I qualified as a Boilermaker.(first attempt) under section 25D. same year I was appointed at Bethal Depot as a Boilermaker 5 and I worked on Maintenance Department till today. Our key tasks is doing repairs on equipment from different site, manufacturing of safety guards on new equipment such as winch's, generators, welding machines and modification of cargo container, making them offices, change room, ablution blocks, kitchens and board rooms for client rentals.

2019 I got appointed as acting Supervisor for Cornelius Van Der Merwe during His upset's and leave days. The key role:

-Conducting daily toolbox talk, Doing weekly and monthly supervisor inspection, Conducting continues risk assessment with employees, Insuring that Company Policy and Procedures are followed, Ensuring all job cards and inspection check sheet are signed off and completion of tasks inspection are done, Reporting of damaged equipment and complete disposal process, Reporting and investigate unsafe condition, acts and at risk behavior, Ensuring all loading and offloading of equipment are done safe, Ensuring SANS and OHS act are followed at all time and lastly Conducting Monthly safety files.
