I joined Scouts and became a Springbok Scout which teaches planning, execution, and reporting. I had to complete 40 hours of community service, plan and lead a hike of over 30 kilometers in unfamiliar territory, also plan and construct a pioneering project. The Springbok Award is the highest award achievable by any Scout in South Africa.
I have completed a Customer Service course in the UK.
I have learned how to use power tools safely and effectively while working at GMI and having to think outside of the box to solve a multitude of problems.
Security installations, assisting with Solar installations and IT Support
Worked as a Team Leader as well as a Manager for a small company based in pretoria doing security installations including alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control and secured IT networks.
Worked as a first line support technician solving clients internet problems and installing satellite internet in remote areas.
Worked as their in house IT support technician. The company closed down
Building and upgrading laptops. At the time they required some assistance in the PC department and I assisted them their as well.
Volunteer work for Scouts Association UK as a Lead Instructor ensuring the safety and running of outdoor activities and Program Leader entailed being the face of the Organization and communicating and ensuring the timely arrival of groups to each activity.
