Branch Manager Duties:


  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships branch managers/supervisors, area sales managers and operation teams within the area of responsibilities.
  • Contributing to motivation and developing of the team through professional leadership.
  • Ensuring selection and appointments are made in line with employment equity targets.
  • Ensuring all new employees have required documentation on file.
  • Ensuring all employee documentation is actioned as per procedure and submitted by deadlines (new employee, change in job functions, personal notice changes, exit interviews, counseling, disciplinary, coaching, one on one meetings, performance appraisals).

  • Daily reports are actioned, and discrepancies are resolved.
  • All vehicles must be accounted for in the yard.
  • De-fleeting according to plan and quality standards. Assisting with up-fleeting vehicles.
  • Ensuring all equipment is in working order and reflected on assets register.
  • Maintaining and securing a healthy & safe environment for all staff
  • Ensuring all staff are aware of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Notifying suppliers of outsourced staff, of headcount required daily.
  • Attending monthly and weekly meeting as per company requirements.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships branch managers/supervisors, area sales managers and operation teams within the area of responsibilities.
  • Ensuring upgrades are managed within regional targets and procedures.
  • Ensuring all vehicles on the “ready line” meet quality standards and any issues identified are rectified timeously.
