Una Siyathemba Xeji

I am a passionate and dedicated Social Work student with a strong commitment to addressing gender-based violence (GBV) and promoting social change. Equipped with in-depth research experience in GBV dynamics and interventions, I am driven to contribute to the prevention and support efforts within a GBV prevention unit.

Through my academic pursuits and practical experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of GBV and the multifaceted approaches needed to combat it. Seeking to leverage my knowledge and passion, I am eager to contribute to a GBV prevention unit where I can collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage in community outreach, and assist in the development and implementation of intervention programs. With a firm belief in the importance of advocacy, empowerment, and trauma-informed care, I am committed to utilizing my skills to make a positive impact and contribute to creating a safer and more equitable environment for all.
