My background in mechanical engineering (N3) and Section 26D has equipped me with the necessary skills to excel in this role. As a safety representative at Lepoa, I played a key role in achieving three incident-free years for the company. At Sims & JCR, I served as a supervisor, overseeing a team of ten individuals and significantly contributing to the company's success, resulting in a two-year contract extension. • Marking off straight pipes, 90 bend and putting flanges on pipes, cutting pipes using oxyacetylene fabricating pressure pipes to be installed in mines.
• Fabricating cones to be used in mines for reducing the fluid pressure and be joined on a pipe line, link together two large unequal diameter pipe systems, and putting in flanges to be welded onto both ends of the pipe system.
• Fabricating hoppers to be used in mines to keep and store the rocks. Also, to move them from one place to another.
• Tack welding the pipes, welding horizontal and vertical up for the plates to be joined together using arc welding as well as CO2.
