- Shadowed Mazoyo Group for the construction of Kit Kat Cash & Carry in Mamelodi for 160 hours to be exposed to the practical side of construction processes, technologies, materials, management, ethical issues, construction health and safety, and any other industry-related topics or activities.
- I learned how to operate some plants, such as a cherry picker, and assisted with filling in the daily diary, safety, health, and environment reports, and keeping a record of deliveries on-site for G5.
- Perform all functions as laid down in the Operation Instructions.
- I kept a record of ready-mix concrete brought to the site.
- Did calculations for flow, DC, water, and fiber.
- Performed slump tests, density tests, and moisture tests.
- Checked levels for pipe excavations using a dumpy level, checking levels for paving using Theodolite and staff, checking G5 for compaction/strength using a Troxler.
