- Liaise with both external and internal customers about sampling protocols and other related services rendered by LCS and Analytical Services division of Rand Water.
- Communicate all deviations on routine sampling schedule and other related sampling points deviations that could compromise the quality of samples collected.
- Investigate the reasons of all cancelled routine samples and communicate this with relevant departments for actions to be taken.
- Keep abreast with developments and requirements of ISO 17025 standard, SANAS related documents and general good laboratory practices.
- Provide technical support and/or customer services to all customers, investigating their queries and/or complaints.
- Train sampling staff on the use of Laboratory Management System (LIMS) and be responsible for the troubleshooting of electronic equipment associated with LIMS.
- Train all staff collecting samples on how to conduct sampling and chlorine testing.
