Tshepo Montja is a qualified electrical engineer, with 20 years of experience in this field. Tshepo have been involved in electrical, instrumentation (small-scale) design and commissioning of EPCM and EPC (Turnkey) projects in South Africa and few countries in Africa.
I have joined DRA Global in July 2010, and I am still currently employed by them. I have worked on various projects and studies fulfilling a Lead Electrical Engineer’s and Electrical Engineer’s roles, respectively. I am recently working on Platreef Phase 1 Project, whereby I am part of the commissioning team. In addition, I am also assisting on Platreef Phase 2 project involved in electrical design and procurement, phases.
Prior to my tenure at DRA Global, I have worked for formerly Africon and now Zutari from 2005 until 2010. Before Africon, I have worked for Eskom Distribution and Transmission Divisions.
At DRA Global, I have accomplished the following:
Concept, Prefeasibility and Feasibility studies.
My core strength is Medium and Low Voltage electrical engineering design and management. Furthermore, I am familiar with basic Instrumentation design, and this complements my primary expertise thereby enhancing my overall proficiency in the field.
An individual with strong understanding of engineering principles, sustainability, and mining legislation.
Tshepo possesses extensive knowledge in Mining projects and have the capability to excel in dynamic and demanding environments.
My career objective is to work in an engineering environment which will enhance my professional growth and where my resourceful experience and character will add value to organizational operations.
