• Prepares and processes quotes on the relevant systems and/ or as required
• Provides professional and accurate advice on cover, exclusions, terms and conditions and ensuring clients are advised of any underwriting requirements in terms of the policy
• Negotiates cover and rates with insurers on behalf of clients
• Responsible for generating new business according to set targets
• Ensures that proposals are correctly completed and follows up on outstanding documentation
• Follows up on quotes already produced and not yet accepted by clients
• Ensures that schemes run profitably by adhering strictly to the underwriting criteria.
• Responsible for producing weekly and monthly operating/ sales reports
