I am a passionate, SACE qualified teacher with experience teaching English, Afrikaans, Maths and life Skills to learners in the foundation phase. I have a strong communicative competence and in-depth knowledge of early childhood development. I am well versed in scaffolding young learners into their targeted age-group goals, and can apply this knowledge to enhance my every-day lessons. I am technology savvy and I am able integrate ICT into my lessons. I am able to adapt relatively well despite added pressure, and I am always looking forward to learning and developing new skills, all while discovering more and more ways that allow me to create meaningful and engaging lessons.
