Effective HR Administration Duties :

  • Ensure that full vetting process has been followed upon recruitment of new incumbent.

Benefits Administration Duties:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of risk schemes and retirement funds to administer
  • Provide advice on benefits offered by the Company and ensure that benefits are linked by Payroll
  • Liaise with brokers concerning problems related to medical aid and provident fund claims and benefits. Be continually updated on changes to medical aid, keep abreast of amendments in legislation
  • Ensure employees update their beneficiary forms annually and administer maternity leave processes and other leave transactions.
  • Skilled in Risk benefit claims (death, disability claims etc), Withdrawal & Retirement claim process.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, and claims.
  • Advise and inform employees of the details of the company's benefit programs.

  • Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Payroll Administration Duties:

  • Review information on the payroll system to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure employees are linked to the correct primary positions and hierarchy structure.
  • Check the payroll sheet to ensure that data is filled accurately. This includes personal information, Hours, Leave, termination date.
  • Administration of any and all Employee movements (Promotions, Transfers, Death, etc.) check quality loaded information
  • Oversee distribution of Pension Fund Statements and IRP5's annually
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures with regards to the HR systems and process
  • Process leave, disciplinary outcomes and beneficiary details on Sage 300 People and Easy Roster
  • Process all payroll input for earnings, deductions, company contributions, and fringe benefits exactly as per the instruction document.
  • Run payroll checks and balances before administration/ supervisors check the payroll. Ensure that payroll deadlines are met on a monthly basis.
  • Continuously monitored industry trends and legislative changes, proactively updating benefits programs to maintain relevancy and compliance.
