Statistics 3: Stochastic Processes
Title: Forecast future values using various SARIMA/ARIMA models.
Summary : Dataset: Monthly total electricity production in gigawatt hours in South Africa (data source: statistics SA) ARIMA models were built using the astsa package and sarima functions. Built three different sarima models and selected the one with the lowest AIC, AICc, and BIC. Finally, Forecast electricity generation for the next 12 and 24 months.
