Accomplishments

  • 01/01/20, Project Managed the replacement of a MTN application to a new improved solution (EVD) that allows MTN Agents to sell and vend MTN prepaid products, as well as 3rd party products (Electricity, DSTV, etc.…). This upgrade included all backend systems and enabling new features such as: instant commission payouts to agents, detailed tracking and monitoring of real time sales.
  • 01/01/15, Implemented Portfolio Management System for FNB, enabling the PMO to operate at an optimal level in view of prioritization of projects, capacity planning and resource allocation as well as tracking estimates vs. actual against time and cost on all projects.
  • 01/01/09, Project Managed a Deposit Automation Solution from inception through to implementation in 6 months using the RUP Fundamentals, this included engaging with different vendors to find the best possible solution. This solution accredited FNB to be the first Bank in RSA to offer a 24hr real time deposit solution to their customers. This project also won the first prize in the annual internal innovation’s competition in 2009. Total prize money = R1Mil.
  • 01/01/05, In 2005 FNB ATMs decided to switch their legacy backend and monitoring systems for to new technology, which was a first worldwide. I analyzed and documented the systems functionality by means of use case modeling where I identified which actors exist and what use cases they will require when interacting with the system. This project was completed within 18 months and Microsoft was recognized in America at their annual conference for the groundbreaking work they achieved in collaboration with FNB ATMs.
