I've been involved in property services, business management services, financial services, project management services, hospitality services, and education, from 1997, in various shareholding, partnerships, and senior management positions.
My property career started in 2000, and I have developed a sound background and experience as a knowledgeable property professional with a demonstrated ability to oversee property operations and ensure client satisfaction with a proven track record of managing complex property portfolios and implementing cost-saving measures. Exhibits strong leadership and problem-solving skills to enhance property value and operational efficiency. Experienced with managing diverse property portfolios. Utilizes strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and property value. Track record of strong leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving in the property portfolio.
My experience, qualifications, and knowledge covered most fields of property, including; 10 national and international property companies generating in excess of R5 billion per month in sales turnover and surpassing R300 million monthly rental and management turnover, 6 national and international franchise brands exceeding 6000 property practitioners and 500 franchise offices, 75 national developments that comprised of 31 040 units & stands, 7 national rental and management portfolios which consisted of 79 996 rental & management units, 7 student housing schemes that owned, sold, managed and leased 3 096 beds, and industry real estate training to over 10 250 real estate practitioners and industry partners.
My involvement included all fields of rentals, sales, leasing, management, and developments within residential, commercial, retail, sectional title schemes, HOA developments and estate living, developments and investment feasibility studies, rental portfolio acquisitions, growth and expansion, franchising, student housing schemes, project management, business management, legal, financial management, human resources management, facilities management, and industry training.
I completed and NQF 9: Master of Business Administration “MBA”, a NQF 8: Postgraduate Diploma in Management, NQF 5: Certificate in Real Estate, PDE 5: Certificate in Real Estate, NQF 5: Certificate in Wealth Management, and various other diplomas and certificates. I registered for a NQF 8: Bachelor of Law “LLB”, via distance learning, and enrolled for my 3rd year in 2026. In 2028 I considered enrolling for my NQF 8: Postgraduate in Real Estate, and in 2029 for my NQF 9: Master of Science in Real Estate.
From 2013 – 2020 I served as the Vice Chairman, and Director of Training and HOA for the Institute of Estate Agents of SA (IEASA), and I also served as a Board Member for the Sectional Titles Regulations Board, from 2015 – 2022. I became a Master Property Practitioner from 2004 – 2025, PPRA FFC no: 0500607.
