Summary

I have always been very passionate about finance and have been working in the industry for the past 10 years. 7 of those 10 years I have been in the financial data and technology industry which has seen significant growth and contributed to an incredibly exciting period of my career. Like the industry I too am enthusiastic, creative, competitive and highly ambitious.

I am grateful to be a very fast learner and have great interpersonal skills in order to leverage the lessons of the experts that I have been surrounded by.

I have been fortunate enough to have been a founder of the Infront Finance offices in South Africa and have enjoyed creating relationships, growing the business and especially handling the operations (data, technology, procurement, backoffice and scalling) side of things. The entrepreneurial journey I have embarked on over the past 5 years has left me very proud of our journey and the skills that I have developed. I am looking very forward to harnessing my experience and expertise in the next challenge that awaits

I am a founder of the South African offices of Infront Finance, a European fintech company specialing in servicing Banks, Stockbrokers and Investment managers with data and front, middle and back office technology.

My role has a variety of responsibilities covering Business administration, Sales/Customer support and Analytics/intelligence

Business Administration

  • Sourcing data from multiple vendors and exchanges to meet clients requirement.
  • Ensuring data quality and functionality are cost effective, efficient and aligned with business strategy
  • Consistent collaboration with various internal divisions including, Product(s) team, Data, Procurement and Support

Sales/Support

  • Successfully doubled the previous years revenue year on year since inception
  • Consistent competitor analysis
  • Contact and set up meetings with C-level executives/ Stakeholders at major SA banks and brokerages and doing a full assessment of existing business, future aspirations and any shortfalls
  • In depth presentations making use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Live demonstrations and discussions of the products and use cases
  • Supporting converted clients in implementation, queries/concerns, understanding best practice and regulation

Analytics/Business intelligence

  • Create or supervise clients while building complex financial models using Infront's integration tools to Excel, Python and REST API's.

My daily duties included
