Current Job Description.


  • Ensure that there are adequate resources available to maintain a high level of quality and service excellence, viz. human resources
  • Keep all relevant stakeholders (shareholders) informed of developments in line with company’s objectives
  • Manage resources, including the attracting, hiring and retention of personnel
  • Ensure employees move in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission
  • Remain close to all stakeholders including the shareholders, management, employees, clients, key-decision makers and external service suppliers
  • Promote the wellness of employees and implementing policies inline with DEL legislation and health and safety guidelines to create a diverse and positive working environment

-Human Resource Manager

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

  • Work with accounting and management team to set budgets, monitor spending, and processing of payroll and other expenses, i.e. capture of 1) payroll, 2) payslips and 3) creditor invoices 4) IRP 5 forms 5) updated employee details onto Geozone Portal
  • Process and email Quarterly Employment Survey (QES), every three months, to Statistics South Africa
  • Process and email Quality Improvement Survey (QIS), every six months, to Statistics South Africa
  • Collect, organize, scan and secure storage of confidential information using the Geozone Portal and the hardcopy filing systems. This includes the safekeeping and scanning/capture/filing of employee letters of appointment, contracts, qualification, identity documents, leave forms and any other confidential information e.g. UIF claims, disciplinary hearing minutes and letters of warnings, i.e. all confidential documentation handed to the Business Manager by the Human Resource and Quality Manager and other members of the management team.
  • Report to and update Geozone Management Team regarding business management role as outline in this document
  • Manage and process all insurance needs of Geozone:
  • Review all insurance policies, annually and meet with brokers etc. to make adjustments, where necessary
  • Obtain new insurance for equipment (laptops, projectors etc.), when necessary
  • Obtain new insurance for employees and management, when necessary
  • Renew insurance as required e.g. professional indemnity (renewed annually)
  • Existing and new employee details, including banking details to be recorded on the Geozone Portal. Banking details to be obtained from new employees, when a contract is signed.

I initially studied Art at Parktown College: Batique, 2d/3d, Oil Painting, Drawing, Pottery, Sculpture. 

I went on to study music at the Shine School of Music, and later Allenby Campus, School of Contemporary Music in guitar, Piano, vocals, vocal physics, in classical, jazz, contemporary and rock. Following a severe car accident I focused my pursuits on more academic interests in archaeology and anthropology.


As for videos games, well, I started in 1983 and never stopped. Everyone needs to remove themselves from our world from time to time and get lost in an alternate universe, albeit an imaginary one.
