

I completed a Bachelor’s degree in at Stellenbosch University, majoring in Financial Management and Agricultural Economics. My studies equipped me with a strong foundation in financial analysis, investment management, and strategic business decision-making.
Initially drawn to commodity trading and the dynamics of SAFEX and derivatives, I developed a broader interest in financial markets, portfolio management, and corporate strategy during my later years of study. I am currently completing my Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning at Stellenbosch Business School, where I’m deepening my knowledge of investments, risk management, and financial strategy. In addition, I am gaining practical industry experience at Retirement Planning Services International (RPSI) – Anchor Capital, where I contribute to portfolio administration, investment analysis, and client-focused reporting.
Alongside my studies, I have built strong interpersonal and client service skills through several years in the hospitality and sales industry, including roles at Rust en Vrede Wine Estate (2022–Present) and a recent seasonal position in California, USA. After completing my degree, I decided to make the most of my Summer vacation and head to
the US to work in a ski town in California for two months. Worked as a bellman at a ski resort, assisting
guests with luggage, providing concierge‑style support, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure
experience.
Acted as a liaison between management, housekeeping, and maintenance staff, ensuring guest requests
and issues were promptly addressed.
