Summary

With 6 years of experience in the maritime industry on motor yachts and sailing catamarans, I am looking to join an active team as Bosun or Chase Boat Driver for the foreseeable future. I am working towards gaining my OOW and looking to consolidate my theoretical and practical knowledge of seamanship and navigational watchkeeping. I am a highly motivated, hardworking individual with an eagerness to learn. I have a lot of energy and enjoy a challenge. I strive to make the deck crew work as a great team.

BOSUN

M/Y Casino Royale - 72m - 1541GT
05.2023 - Current
  • M/Y Casino Royale is a private vessel based out of West Palm Beach with primarily boss onboard most weekends
  • Our cruising included a short Mediterranean season followed by an Atlantic crossing and finishing off the summer in North-East America with monthly trips to the Bahamas
  • The vessel is very project-driven and hands-on, which includes painting, carpentry and mcgivering
  • Tenders and toys that run with the yacht included, 45ft Nortech with quad 450,35ft Chris Craft, two 8m ribs with inboard engine and a rescue tender with an outboard tiller
  • 3 Jet skis and various watersports and inflatables
  • My responsibilities: daily running and planning of the vessels exterior, inventories, tender maintenance and routine maintenance on deck
  • Training junior crew on how to maintain the vessel and operate tenders
  • Assisting 2nd Officer with LSA and FFE checks and maintenance.

  • Lioness V is a busy private/charter vessel
  • Daily activities included various water sports and beach setups of up to 20 guests
  • Taking control of the foredeck for mooring operations and anchoring
  • We have a 42' Van Dutch powerboat Level 2, Personal Watercraft twin screw, 7.5m Novurania and 4m Rib with an outboard tiller that gets used on a daily basis with plenty of driving time
  • General and routine maintenance with teak, polishing, detailing/reorganizing, and washdowns
  • Following ISM and ISPS and assisting officers with weeklies and monthlies
  • Preparing for extensive yard period, putting together a work list, purchase list and getting contractor quotes.

  • My Lady is a private 50m world cruising full ISM commercially compliant vessel
  • During my time on board, we have completed 1 season on the east coast of the USA and Canada and a Caribbean season
  • The deck team consisted of four crew and my responsibilities were maintaining exterior guest areas and decks, LSA and FFE weekly and monthly inspections, GMDSS checks, mooring operations, tender operations, navigational watches, and bridge administration which included chart and publication corrects
  • Every 3 months I would cover the Bosun on his rotation, I would take on his roles and responsibilities
  • This includes leading the deck team in the daily operations of the vessel, creating worklists, updating inventories, and managing deck supplies
  • I was given the opportunity to sit as a navigational watchkeeper in charge of the guest's daily hikes
  • Mapping out the routes in advance and keeping our boss safe and happy on these trips.

Meridian Adventure Sails

  • I joined the Meridian Program in September 2018
  • My first three months with the company consisted of intense training at the Meridian Adventure Academy in Turkey in the Aegean Fleet
  • This training focused on all departments on the vessel and gave in-depth knowledge of how the various departments on board functioned
  • Deck training included mooring operations, stern-tie, anchoring, tender driving, sailing, wash-down, general maintenance, chart work, navigational watch, anchor watch and Spars and rigging
  • I furthered my training when I joined Meridian Adventure S/Y #109 training was maintenance and engineering focused
  • During my time on board, I completed 8 months of guest trips as well as a yard period
  • I completed a crossing from Indonesia to Darwin, Australia and participated in night and anchor watches
  • I joined Meridian Adventure S/Y as Master on both #114 and #99
  • I oversaw a team of 3 and then 4 and lead these teams in all operations
  • I pride myself in keeping my vessels to the highest standard and training my teams to do the same all while delivering exceptional guest service
  • I was the water sports coordinator during guest trips and was the designated tender driver for guest operations
  • The tenders used through the fleet were M.A.T1010 sail race boats, Nautica ribs 19ft-40ft, 33ft Wally tender, Bavaria MY 44, Wake surf boat G23 Nautique.
