- Responsible for the local business development and strengthening the brand image of Chemische Werke Kluthe GmbH a global chemical supplier to DaMo Chemical Solutions.
- Introduce Kluthe's chemical technology to the South African market and become Kluthe's local contact to existing customers through DaMo Chemical Solutions.
- Visit existing Kluthe customers in South Africa and identify potential customers through market research.
- Perform cold calls, lead generation and convert to possible customers.
- Arrange and coordinate line trials at customer premises, and provide customer with a detailed trial report.

- Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993, and Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and Explosive regulation standards.
- Execute daily production targets as communicated by the Plant Supervisor.
- Ensure that there is sufficient raw materials at the plant store room, to achieve daily planned production.
- Liaise with other departments such as Engineering, SHE & Quality to maintain an undisturbed operation, a safe working environment and follow Control Plans.
- Monitor and operate process units, process equipment and machinery as described by the Facility Operating Instructions.
- Responsible to operate a multi-stage evaporation plant (Sulfuric re-concentration plant) and a Flash Distillation column (Acetone re-concentration facility) to support the Nitrate ester production plants (Nitro Guanidine Plant, PETN/RDX Plant).
- Ensure that manufacturing of products occurs as per Product Manufacturing Instructions and in accordance to the Quality Control Plan.
- Maintain a safe working environment by always wearing the appropriate PPE.
- Facilitate both planned and preventative maintenance with the Engineering department.
- Apply lock out system of moving machinery and process equipment during maintenance.
- Liaise with the Plant Supervisor to issue out work permits and confined space permits before any maintenance work is conducted and perform standby duties.
- Responsible for driving continuous innovative improvement (CII’s) within their facilities.
- Perform any ad hoc and administrative duties assigned to me by the Plant Supervisor.
