Quality

• Analyze monthly data for report presentation to senior management
• Report on achievement of target and identify any actions required
• Resolve concerns by our customer relating to quality
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
• Develop,implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Conduct Risk assessments of processes and implement corrective actions
• Manage and measure effectiveness of countermeasure implementation for internal and customer defects
• Continuously improve processes through Kaizen promotion and QC Circle participation
• Coach Team Leaders on Quality matters
• Ensure Staff members have a clear understanding of inspection information and Work Instructions
• Ensure production change requests from the customer are well understood trough training,quality alerts and job Observations
• Understanding of drawings and Product relevant information
• Track and measure PPM Levels to determine product quality status
• Monitor QPR as per Toyota requirements
• Ensure that all inspection equipment is in Good working condition and the necessary preventative maintenance is performed to prevent both breakdowns and future repairs
• Focus on reduction of waste (MUDA)

People Management

• Handling of disciplinary issues
• Focus on development of Team leaders and Team members to maximise their performance
• Ensure compliance with Health, safety and PPE rules
• Facilitate open communication between Team and Managements
• Ensure compliance to all Organization policies and systems
• Communicate KPIs from the Strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware

• Coordinate and monitor activities of Inspectors
• Ensure appropriate corrective and preventative measures are in place
• Identify training needs for quality inspectors
• coordinate implementation of continuous improvement
• Support in ensuring all KPIs are met
• Carry out Vehicle Audits according to MAN Standards, communicate all findings to relevant departments and monitor effectiveness of countermeasure.
• Drive problem solving to ensure there are no re-occurring issues
• Ensure Health and safety rules are followed on a daily basis

• Conduct time Studies and create work instructions
• Design Layout of equipment,material and work space to illustrate maximum efficiency and eliminating bottle necks

Problem solving using quality and production tools such as :

Cause and effect diagram

Process flow charts,control chart and ergonomic assessments

• Conduct 5s Audit and present finding to relevant departments

• Production process improvement,driving Kaizen and 5s activities
• Training employees on Production system principles, Develop and conduct training
• Prepare schedules for 5s, product and process Audits, Non-Conformance reports for Audit finding
• Follow up on corrective action implemented and ensure effectiveness
• Ensure customer concerns are are formally recorded on the quality improvements report
