Motivation
I worked for the Southern African Wildlife College in the position of Programmes Administrator from May 2012 to December 2017 before I was promoted to the position of Departmental Coordinator in January of 2018 to April 2024. I acquired administration and project coordination skills during the times while I was reporting to the Head of Department for Community and Youth Development. The Community and Youth Department changed its name to Skills Development for Conservation in January 2024. While busy with both administrative and coordination responsibilities at the Southern African Wildlife College, I was lucky to be experienced in the following areas that enhanced my skills in programme administration. Providing strong logistical and technical support services to the Business Unit Manager for the Community and Youth Development. I liaised with prospective trainers, training providers and course delegates to ensure they comply with rules, regulations and College policies. I was responsible for departmental stationery procurement, preparation and compilation of student portfolios in readiness for moderation and evaluation by the relevant Sector Education Training Authority.
