Theon has achieved the following using the SAFe framework:

• Coached three teams – SA app team, Africa App Team and the Rewards team delivering backend platforms and several new sales features. Reached business objectives to launch the app to eight new countries and optimising the user experience on the SA App side.
• Worked with the RTE to deliver consistent Team and Programme metrics linked to delivery, culture and business metrics.
• Mentored and coached Scrum Masters in teams and across the programme.

Recognised for delivery beyond the role; solved data integration issues hindering feature delivery in multiple African markets

Caretaker RTE for African National Operations Centre (ANOC) ART.
Full SAFe implementation with all programmes and ceremonies.

• Coaching six Scrum Masters in Agile, SAFe, Scrum and Kanban.
• Monitor development for bottlenecks and provide input on addressing same.
• Ensure alignment to the cross-departmental roadmaps, create a joint plan to manage dependencies.
• Implemented key performance metrics at a team and programme level.

Rolled out AppDynamics Application Performance Management and ANOC Security programme one quarter ahead of schedule.

ANOC Security team achieved three consecutive quarters of "zero-vulnerabilities". Only security team to achieve that feat.

Over eight month period rotated between eight teams to improve performance and instill best practice at ABInBev. The Programme enabled the turnaround of the African IT landscape. Theon focused on short iteration planning and execution using demos to make progress visible and shorten feedback loops.

DevOps Software roll-out:

Full DevOps strategy with new software to replace project management and operations backend. Rolled-out ALM Octane (Agile management Software) to all teams in 4 ARTs (12 teams), implemented best practise in SAFe ceremonies to ensure that the ART delivered on time and within budget.

MyCustomer Portal development (Self-help portal):

Ensured delivery by fixing legacy issues and maintaining support on platform to ensure smooth business support.

Caretook teams as Scrum Master to ensure ART delivery.

Client Liaison between Standard Bank and TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), growing the account by 50%.

Highlights: Successful Robotics Process Automation project with BluePrism software.

Senior Strategist for IMImobile and Head of Operations for Buzz Mobile.

Developed, sold and maintained Mobile Communications Technology for Blue Chip and Public Sector Clients.

At peak, communicated over 14million monthly messages to consumers via SMS, email, in-app messaging and MMS.

Responsible for Dell EMC, VMWare products and services sales via reseller network.

Highlights include Large volume sales to King Shaka Airport, MTN (Voicemail storage) and Mbombela.

Corporate Account liaison for companies such as Investec, Primedia, Interwaste.
