Mimosa Plant, Northern Coal- Carolina(Fixed Term Contract)

Appointed Mine Engineer (2.13.1) at Mimosa Plant responsible for the following:

1. Providing engineering technical support and incorporating new technologies for the operation.

2. Overseeing project management, design and construction(planning, design, construction, commissioning and handover) for all engineering functions in the operation.

3. Ensuring the safe design, installation, operation, and maintenance of all machinery, plant equipment, and siding equipment.

4. Ensure compliance for all contractors on-site and employees to the provision of the MHSA in the operation.

5. Overseeing the coal process plants both (Middling and DMS) plant, discard dumps and storage facilities of the engineering section in the operation.

6. Overseeing all aspect of engineering of the plant, surface and sidings operation.

7. Ensuring the preparation, developing and implementation of standards, procedures and codes of practice.

8. Ensuring effective labour utilization in the engineering department and Overseeing and monitoring the engineering expenditure and budgeting. Maintain and establish a cost system with effective budget parameters, reconciling all engineering accounts (e.g., Eskom billing, invoices, etc.).

9. Ensuring the work cycle management is functional, deviations are reviewed, and maintenance schedules and breakdown reports are in place.Ensuring the implementation of a maintenance plan both short term and long term. Inclusive daily, weekly and monthly inspection, log Book, condition monitoring, and planned maintenance for both coal processing plants and TMM.

Lephalale Solar Plant - Lephalale

Appointed Engineer (2.13.1) at Lephalale Solar Plant responsible for the following:

1. Construction of the 77.8MW solar plant

2. Construction of the step-up substation (33kV/132kV) 3. Construction of the 2 overhead transmission lines 132kV, for redundancy

4. Construction and maintenance of the access roads

5. Construction of the internal road to the solar plant

6. Construction of the parameter fencing and security systems for the solar plant

7. Construction of the step-down substation (132kV/33kV), that will be supplying as base load to Grootgeluk Exxaro 33kV substation

My role is to lead a multidisciplinary contractors performing construction, erection, or maintenance work to ensure safe, efficient and reliable construction of the solar plant.

P2 Mining [Zerbatone] - Bokoni Platinum Mine - Limpopo

Appointed Section Engineer(2.13.3.1) at P2 and Zerbatone Mining responsible for the following:

1. Maintenance of assets (scraper winches, mono- winches, in-stope pumping, electrical gully boxes, in-stope illumination, rockdrill machines and secondary support equipment) 2. Site specific standards, procedures and MCOP

Program that gives exposure to the entire Engineering and Mining field with regards to all mining industry machineries, equipment's, and MHSA application Purpose is to acquire various skills, knowledge, training, experience, and competence required as the ticketed Engineer in the mining sector.
