Accomplishments

2024 -2025 Implementation of the SACCHI Filling Technology
I am currently working with CPS Engineers & the SACCHI plant (Italy) to deliver a high output filling line.
This project is aimed at alleviating the high complexity in the Dry Parts Manufacturing area. We
currently running 3 shifts in most of the Rooms due to the high number of parts being made. This line
comes with 8 fillers and an output of 14 bags per minute. When fully implemented it will reduce the
number of shifts required from 3 to 1, helping the company to improve its performance on FTE.
2024 - Installation of Cobots (Ongoing)
Working with the automation Engineers we are currently working on the introduction of robots in the
manufacturing space. This initiative is aimed at improving the accuracy in the packing process as the
cobot will have the capability of scanning barcodes to verify bags as they are packed into cartons. We
are working with other Engineers in Singapore & France (Our Sister Plants)

2022 - Construction of production Rooms
Working with our process Engineers, I led the project of constructing the Room 1/ Room 2
Manufacturing Room. This project purpose of this project was to improve the capacity of the Dry Parts
manufacturing area as it has high complexity brought about by sugar reduction. In this project we
implemented automated packing lines that come with barcode scanning cameras to improve accuracy
in the packing process.
2022 – Bulk Bag Discharging Project
Working with our process Engineer, I led the implementation of the All-fill Bulk bag discharging System.
This project was aimed at improving ergonomics (remove manual decanting of ingredients) and also
improve productivity. Before the implementation of this project, filling for some materials was done by
manually decanting 25kg bags into the hopper to cover a requirement of up to 4 tons. This has been
replaced by upsized bags (1000 kg) that are now filled from the new discharging system
2021-2022 Implementation of Automated OEE/SPC
This project was aimed at tracking and monitoring line efficiencies with the view to zero down on areas
of improvement such as speed losses & breakdown.
2019 – Kit Size Optimization Project (KSO)
In this project we worked with a collaborative team from Commercialization, Product portfolio,
manufacturing & Engineering. This initiative was aimed at solving ergonomic constraints - too many
physical eaches (product cartons) to produce by CPS & handled by bottler slowing down production,
high packaging & logistics cost.
