Technical Operations Support:

• Delivering technical support to the operations team, effectively addressing concerns raised by clients and the Engineer of Record (EoR) to ensure full compliance with tailings dam design requirements.
• Collaboration with other departments to facilitate successful project completion.

Monitoring, Risk Management & Engineering Judgement:

• Oversee the monitoring and risk management of tailings storage facilities through in-depth technical data analysis, site inspections, development of deposition plans, and application of engineering judgment to solve problems.
• Monitoring ongoing technical compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Technical Reporting:

• Writes and reviews comprehensive technical reports, including: Construction Method Statements
  Annual and Quarterly Tailings Technical Review Reports, Tailings Handover/Closeout Reports.

Tender Evaluation:

• Conducts detailed technical evaluations of tailings and project tender proposals, selecting optimal solutions without compromising quality or performance.

Problem Solving & Innovation:

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges in tailings management.

Quality Assurance & Control:

• Implements quality control measures to ensure the highest level of project delivery integrity and reliability.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Establishes strong working relationships with stakeholders (Client & Engineer of Record) through effective communication and collaboration aligned with shared goals in the tailing dams.
