Currently running a full operational trial at Mponeng Mine, including:

  • Installing sensors in crosscuts to measure:
    Ventilation quantity
    Service water flow, pressure, and temperature
    Compressed air pressure and flow
    Cooling car inlet and outlet temperatures
  • Installing blast-detection sensors in panels to improve how operations are monitored and enhance safety.
    Sensors detect blasts through ground vibrations, shock waves, and gas changes.
  • Supporting development of real-time underground data monitoring to improve decision-making.
  • Completed Reducing Water on the Footwall” project to minimise water pooling and fines during drilling, cleaning, and sweeping operations at Phakisa mine
