· Planning, implementation & Management of Infrastructure projects (funded through MIG, RBIG, and MWIG & EPWP) water and sanitation projects. This include planning and design, which includes water services, IWRM, tariff setting and implementation of water services.
· Overseeing operations and maintenance which include development of asset management policy, implementation of asset management policy, updating of infrastructure assets in asset register, water quality and management of both Waste Water and Water treatment works.
· Water use efficiency in relations to revenue & non-revenue water, no-drop as well as WC & WDM strategy development and implementation.
· Management and control of the budget for the department. Control of vehicles allocated to the department.
