- I am currently a Category Planner for our FMCG Client FoodLovers Market.
- I plan 15 different categories for FoodLovers Market ranging from Grocery aisle categories to Frozen Foods, Tobacco as well as Butchery.
- 2024 has begun with the introduction of new categories to my portfolio such as Tobacco and Deli.
- As a Category Planner I analyze, clean and compile retail data to plan category clusters, create product ranges, build planograms and execute retail strategies.
- Semi Annually, I help my Buyers restructure product groupings based on performance and current trends within the market.
- I have created and planned ranging and layouts for new categories such as Frozen Foods where there were none previously. This has directly contributed to improvements in stock management as well as reaching targeted sales growth for my categories in 2023.
- Over 2022-2023, I have participated in many "in house" software courses to align skills and expertise with the growing demand in efficient retail analytics and software competencies within the FMCG industry.
- As such I have developed strong knowledge within the analytical field of Supply Chain and Demand Planning. Our planograms are directly used for ordering purposes, stock allocations and range management.

- As Store Manager I was in charge of maintaining professional standards for the Stock in my store. This entailed Stock Counts, the Handling and Movement of Stock to and from my store, as well as identifying Stock Needs.
- With my Degree competencies I was tasked with analyzing performance by using the retail analytics provided by the point sales system to make recommendations to the regional manager for ranging and product opportunities.

- I was deployed as a Graduate Merchandise Planner on the Jewelry Division assisting two companies: American Swiss and Sterns.
- As a Trainee Merchandise Planner, I was tasked with assisting in the Financial and Strategic Management of 2 categories: Diamonds and Silver.
- My main responsibility included Stock Allocations for both Diamonds and Silver for both companies using the JMS Allocations system.
- As the year progressed I was moved into working on the "Buy Plan" Ranging and Assortments system where I ranged products for the Silver Category.
- I was also tasked with presenting figures and suggestions for two new Diamond ranges called Precious Pink and Beautiful Blue. The presentation was approved and these two ranges were introduced into the category.
