Dear Hiring Manager,

I was excited to learn of this job opportunity, as it exactly the position I have been searching for. I am keen and motivated to work in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sector especially Cipla. My qualifications match your requirements, and I believe that I have the skills and mindset to be an asset to your team. As shown in my CV, I have a background in hospital and clinic pharmacy and am aware of my lack of knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Therefore, I decided to further my knowledge by obtaining a Certificate in Quality Assurance in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry (Summa Cum Laude) from North West University. The course includes concepts such as Quality Assurance, Documentation (Good Manufacturing Practice), Premises and Equipment, Complaints and Product recall, Product Quality Review, Self-Inspection, Quality Control, and Quality Risk.

In my previous role as Roving Pharmacist for the Mantsopa Sub-district Clinics, I had to take on a supervisory role, and I am confident that while my experience does not directly relate to the pharmaceutical industry, the skills I gained are transferable to this position's requirements. I have received outstanding feedback for my abilities and enthusiasm, and I am reliable in following directions and exceeding expectations. I believe my determination will make me an exceptional member of your team and I look forward to the opportunities to contribute and develop new skills.

My greatest strength is my ability to easily adjust to different roles and surroundings and I truly believe that I will succeed in this position and would make a great contribution to the Adcock Ingram team. Please reach out with any questions about my work history and capabilities. I'll be happy to expand on any experience, skills and how I can meet the companies needs.

Sincerely, Terrien Pillay
