    demand.
  • Work with the vetting and accreditation
    department, as well as the Sales and Marketing
    executive to define retailer selection criteria as
    well as retailer sales performance criteria. Identify
    which of the current retailers should be kept and
    developed and which ones should be exited.
  • Determine which retailers can be approved based
    on a prefund for a specific period of time and
    subsequently reviewed.
  • Develop the standards for retailer calling
    programme in terms of frequency of coverage by
    type of retailer. Obtain approval for the standards
    from the divisional leadership team prior to
    implementation.
  • Drive the acquisition of new retailers by coaching
    regional managers and individual sales teams on
    the retailer criteria as well as on the sales
    process.
  • Monitor daily retailer performance and analyse
    the sales data nationally and guide regional
    offices on corrective action.
  • Recommend the sales metrics that require
    monitoring to the Sales and Marketing Executive.
