Programme Overview:

· The design, development and implementation of a turnkey solution for consolidation of data stores in preparation for the provision of e-Cadastre for the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) - eCadastre

· This programme seeks to address issues of a paperless environment in the cadastral and Deeds environment, consolidating and cleaning up country wide land ownership data and lastly providing efficient services to all the stakeholders.

· Key Stakeholders: All Banks; Municipalities; Law Society; Conveyancers; Lawyers; Members of the Public; Government Departments; SARS etc.

The solution design consists of:

· Identity and access management; Portal solution; Public key infrastructure; Infrastructure; Integration; Electronic document management system (EDMS) and content management (ECM)

· Business process management; Consolidation and integration of data stores in preparation of the e-Cadastre; Integration of back scanning into an EDMS; Process management and execution of the back scanning process, including interoperability and integration in SOA

· Integrate all the streams and ensure continuous alignment to the principles of Batho Pele and the Departmental Strategic objectives
