  • The technology bar provides an onsite service to the client base of Nationwide
  • The delivery model was changed from an onshore delivery portfolio to an offshore
  • I was tasked with leading a team of local engineers who are very client facing to plug the gap for the local user base
  • The service provides 1st/2nd and third line support for the local user base via walk-ins and incident assignment

  • Account for missing assets
  • Desktops, Servers and Laptops that were disconnected from the LAN for more than 30 days were automatically dropped off the customer's domain
  • Responsible for tracking down and reporting the status of this equipment
  • Use Eracent which produces a report of equipment on the LAN
  • This was the primary database
  • Perform intricate queries in Active Directory, Configuration Manager 2012 and server administration tools to determine activity history of missing hardware
  • Gather all the data, manipulated it using complex Excel formulas such as Pivot tables and nested VLookups to provide management with reports for the customer
  • Compile the reports, documented the processes that had been used to establish these reports
  • Configuration Manager (SMCC 2012), Active Directory(AD), Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2010 and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) were used extensively through this project
  • Travelled to branches and satellite administration centres to perform audits
