Slacks By It is a business that was started in the year of Covid 2020. A business that was started by my wife and I. The business manufactures luxury lounge wear garments for both men and Woman. All designs are made up by us. All manufactured in South Africa and Sold online.

It has a manufacturing facility that is housed under 19000 Square meters. It has a work force of 250 Employees. The company supplies Multi national chain stores in the country and independent retail stores in South Africa. We also supply neighbouring countries to South Africa. All equipment that is purchased in the company is from Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Turkey ensuring state of the art equipment.

  • Managing the entire operations of the business
  • Manage the full line of the production
  • Manage product from the time containers arrive at the factory until the end of process of completing the product into a finished good.
  • Overlook, with a team the receipting of goods that arrive from containers. Cross check and balances from suppliers invoice to what was actually received
  • Issue stock out to the factory against production orders. As well as creating the production order against a Customer purchase order
  • Plan each department with head of departments on the operations of the department on a month to month bases.
  • Mange all the procumbent from local suppliers for peripherals that are needed to manufacture the product
  • Deal with all planers from multi national chain stores in terms of orders and delivery dates
  • Head up a quality control team to ensure the finest quality product is manufactured and eliminate bottle necks with quality
  • Manage 30% of the independent sales for the company.
  • ·Weekly meetings with sales force for the independent market to see what is required
  • Overlook the maintenance team to ensure maintenance is completed on machinery to avoid breakdowns.
  • Assist in breakdowns from a mechanical and electrical view and deal with machine manufacturers to help diagnose and resolve the breakdown
  • Financial cash flows and salaries and wages payments to confirm before it is released
  • Part of the development when the company moved over to Sap ERMP system
