As a Legal Intern in the Company Secretariat Department, my responsibilities include the following:
1. Shareholder Liaison:
• Assisting with communication between the company and its shareholders to address inquiries and provide updates.
• Supporting the coordination of shareholder communications and maintaining accurate records.
2. Compliance and Regulatory Assistance:
• Helping ensure the company complies with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Preparing and submitting documentation for the registration of regulations, certificates, and other regulatory filings.
3. Administrative Duties:
• Updating and maintaining corporate records, databases, and statutory registers.
• Drafting and sending emails on behalf of the Company Secretariat team.
• Assisting in organizing and managing department documentation.
4. Meeting Coordination:
• Acting as Meeting Secretary for weekly departmental meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and circulating follow-up action items.
• Coordinating meeting schedules and ensuring all logistics are in place.
5. General Support:
• Providing administrative support to the Company Secretariat team.
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks to support the department’s overall efficiency and compliance efforts.
