I am a postgraduate researcher in the Faculty of Science at Stellenbosch University, specialising in applied machine learning and computer vision for real-world biological and health-related problems. My research focuses on translating complex visual and phenotypic data into practical decision-support tools, particularly in contexts where expert judgement, data uncertainty, and real-world constraints intersect. I am a motivated team player who works beyond expected requirements and values organisation and responsibility. I have a strong willingness to learn, enjoy tackling challenging problems, and approach complex tasks with a disciplined and solution-oriented mindset.
