I am a passionate and results-driven wildlife management professional with a Bachelor’s and Honors degree in Agriculture (Wildlife Management) from the University of the Free State. With a strong background in ecological monitoring, habitat management, and wildlife conservation, I bring proven skills in conservation advocacy, public engagement, and sustainable practices.
My experience as a Junior Ambassador for the Ulinzi Africa Foundation involved promoting wildlife conservation, leading anti-poaching initiatives, and educating communities on environmental stewardship. I have also volunteered at the Joburg Zoo, gaining hands-on experience in animal care and public education. Awarded an international gold medal for sustainable innovation in construction, I demonstrated my commitment to sustainability and creative problem-solving.
Certified in wildlife behavior and holding a professional diploma in team sports medicine, I combine technical expertise in wildlife monitoring with a deep understanding of team dynamics, leadership, and health. As a high-level soccer player who has trialed overseas, I’ve developed discipline, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure—skills I seamlessly transfer into professional environments. My physically active lifestyle ensures I am fit for the demanding outdoor work associated with wildlife management.
I co-own Burgers by 2 Guys, where I handle media, advertisements, and daily operations, demonstrating strong business acumen, leadership, and marketing skills. Additionally, my experience as a sales representative for Turbo Freeze and DMK Skin Therapists honed my communication and relationship-building abilities.
Having spent holidays as a child working at stables and guiding horseback tours on outrides, I developed a lifelong passion for animals and the outdoors. I am eager to apply my unique blend of conservation, leadership, and business skills to drive impactful change in the agricultural and wildlife industries, contributing to biodiversity preservation and community engagement.
