LEGAL
o Provide appropriate, proactive legal advice and legal interpretation
o Identify, evaluate, and advise on potential, current or future legal risks
o Draft and review contracts to ensure that the contracts entered into by the organisation are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted, and vetted
o Review and sign off policy documents as requested by the organisation
o Provide legal opinion on all matters as instructed by the organisation to ensure that the organisation' interests are protected
o Act as a sounding board for legal advisors and ensure best practice (professional ethics)
o Conduct strategic reporting on the organisation' relevant issues such as litigation management, with the purpose of identifying trends in order to mitigate and prevent future risks
o Develop, manage, and deliver on Service Level Agreements with internal business partners
o Research and analyse the implications of case law, legislations and regulatory matters that affect the company
o Manage translation of legislative and regulatory issues and the impact of new legislation on the organisation

CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT
o Primary commercial interface with key strategic Suppliers and or Partners (e.g. Huawei, ZTE, MTN, Facebook)
o Ensure that all the contractual obligations/deliverables are met by the Suppliers and Company
o Be responsible for ensuring all change control procedures are adhered to by Suppliers and Company and that variations are in accordance with agreed contractual terms and pricing
o Manage and escalate all Suppliers and Company contract non-compliance events in accordance with the contractual terms
o Engage with the Suppliers and the relevant internal departments to ensure that project timelines are met and manage all penalties to be applied to the Suppliers in accordance with the contract

CONTRACT NEGOTIATION
