The multi-functional role of the Speciality Beer Manager is tasked to manage the Speciality Beer portfolio, that consists of Newlands Spring, Hoegaarden & Leffe, in its entirety. This role therefore rabidly expanded my skills, from brand and sales strategy development to contract negotiation and beyond, and required me to work cross-functionally with production-, planning-, sales-, marketing- & design teams. In my time at Newlands Spring we managed to restore customer & consumer confidence and turn the rapidly declining brand (since 2019) around to a point where the brand returned to growth and momentum has been regained in a small but very competitive market.
