I started my position at Scorpion as a control room operator. I proved that I am a quick learner and that I have a good way of communicating with a variety of clients. Not long after my appointment, I was placed in a control room management Position. After spending 1 year in the control room I decided that I am more interested in joining the response officers working outside of the office. I studied and obtained the necessary qualifications to become a response officer. After 3 months working as a response officer , i once again proved myself and I was made Senior Tactical Officer , where I had to lead my fellow officers and ensure a successful shift.

The following was my duties as Control room manager as well as Senior Tactical Officer.

Control Room Operator:

• Monitoring Alarms and assisting clients with complaints and enquiries
• Dispatching response officers to alarms and emergencies
• Shift planning for guards as well as the other control room operators
• Training new employees

Response Officer:

• Respond to alarms and crime scenes
• Assisting with other emergencies such as medical and fire
• Supervising response officers as well as guards who was under my supervision
• Signing new clients/Business
