I am an enthusiastic and qualified academic professional with outstanding classroom management skills and a genuine passion for helping children of all abilities to reach their full potential. I am innovative and engage students through interactive curriculum delivery, lessons plans and differentiated instruction. In addition to my 9 years teaching experience I have gained experience in academic as well as non-academic administrative and event planning and coordination work. This experience has helped me to remain organized with planning and developing curriculum across various subjects and monitoring progress of tasks. I am a dedicated and attentive teacher who understands the need for students to gain excellent communication and entrepreneurial skills in order to become successful leaders of the future. My teaching methods are adaptable to changing educational demands and to my student's level of development, their preference and the synergy between a particular lesson and the preceding and ensuing ones. I am able to not just impart knowledge but also transmit values, foster empathy and establish relationships of contention with students. I am committed to creating a positive classroom environment where every student feels seen, valued and motivated to excel. I am also committed in building collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and parents . I believe the acquisition and retention of complex networks of knowledge can be manageable by developing differentiated, interactive and meaningful teaching and learning approaches. I strongly believe creating a positive classroom climate is imperative as it enables me to allow my students to explore on their strengths and limitations, making them aware of their emotions and behaviours as well as the effect it has on others. In my ability of creating a positive classroom climate I aim to assist my learners’ in not only making cognitive structures easier to grasp but also to acquire the skills to cope effectively with situations of conflict and stress as well as developing a strong sense of self-worth.
