
I am a student studying a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Cape Town. I am a confident, people person. I Achieved the gold presidents award in high school. I have a desire to learn and grow. I have contributed to any societies and am a sporty person being in the second team tennis and hockey.
I spent a week job shadowing people at the Energy Council of South Africa in Sandton, Johannesburg. I worked with multiple members and sat in on certain meetings. Learning about the goals they aim to achieve and methods they will follow to reach their target
I sat in on a Grade 4 class as well as a Grade 6 class. I studied how the teachers interact with the students differently and the patients maintains for the children to understand.
Gold Standard of the Duke of Edinburgh's international award - I did over 150 hours of communuity service work, which included helping elderly people with mental disabilities at the REEA Foundation, working at the SPCA, the Botshobelo non-profit organisation, and teaching children mathematics.
