Summary

I have a strong background in municipal research and oversight and during my tenure at the Fezile Dabi District Municipality's Municipal Public Accounts Committee I have gained much expertise in developing accountability measures and ensuring transparency in financial processes. I have a B.Com Accounting, B.Com (Hons) Management Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning all from the University of the Free State. This strong background in academics has provided me with a solid background in accounting principles and financial planning, and has allowed me to strengthen my abilities in bookkeeping, accounting systems, etc.

My professional experience includes three years as a researcher at the Free State Provincial Legislature and two years as a Senate member at the University of the Free State. During this time, I successfully led a team in shaping policy positions for the sector. I have strong communication and project management skills, and I have a great deal of research and sector background, so I am a good addition to any team.
