In 2016 I started my B.Pharm degree at the North West University of Potchefstroom and finished in 2020.
In 2021 I started my internship in Namibia and finished that at the end of 2021 and then registered as Pharmacist in Namibia (PHS 01473)
I will be an asset to any pharmacy because I am a hardworking lady with a lot of discipline, and I have a passion for what we as pharmacists do. I see my career as a chance to be the best person I can be and to be the woman that God made me to be.
I have learned to handle the difficult as well as the pleasant patients who appreciate my efforts. Like in any career there are bad and good days and I have learned how to handle both. I am also quick thinking on my feet, and I will take every challenge that comes my way.
The best part of being a pharmacist is that feeling when a patient gives you good feedback about their treatment or your advice to them. And when you know you helped someone who was desperately in need of some, and you can see they appreciate it. That makes me go the extra mile.
People will always be my biggest challenge as well as the fear of “not knowing something”. This drives me to learn how to handle different people and put myself in their shoes and to stay up to date with current and new information on medicine and treatments.
