Sonia Govender

Sonia Govender is a seasoned Senior Human Resource and Transformation Manager with an impressive 25-year track record in the field. She is highly experienced in Human Resource and Transformation Management, with a specific focus on BBBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment). Sonia's educational journey began with a National Diploma in Correctional Management from the University of South Africa in 2016. Recognizing her passion for working with people, she pursued a National Diploma in Human Resource Management in 2017 and further enhanced her skills through various short courses. She is a qualified Assessor, Moderator, and Facilitator. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, Sonia obtained an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from MANCOSA Honourers University in 2021, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of organizational operations. In her role, she has effectively implemented transformation strategies, leading to significant achievements, including a level 2 scorecard for MRW Projects in 2022, progressing to a level 1 scorecard in 2023.
