Summary

Mechanical Engineering graduate with a genuine passion for design and CAD modelling. I enjoy turning ideas into practical, well-engineered solutions and seeing how concepts evolve from sketches into functional components. With a solid foundation in engineering principles and hands-on industry experience, I approach problems with curiosity, creativity, and careful attention to detail. I'm motivated to contribute to meaningful projects while continuously growing as a design engineer.

Project

Investigation of the Hot Rolling Behaviour and Creep Response of AA3104 Aluminium Alloy

  • Conducted research on the effects of temperature and strain rate on the hot deformation behaviour of AA3104 aluminium alloy.
  • Analysed plane strain compression (PSC) and creep test data obtained using a Gleeble 3800 thermo-mechanical simulator.
  • Processed and analysed experimental data using Python, including true stress–strain calculations and statistical analysis.
  • Developed an Arrhenius-based constitutive model and evaluated the Zener–Hollomon parameter to predict material behaviour during hot rolling.
  • Performed microstructural analysis using Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD) to investigate recrystallisation and grain evolution.
  • Assessed the relationship between processing conditions, mechanical properties, and microstructural changes to support optimisation of industrial hot rolling processes.
