I am a dedicated and ambitious young professional with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in the fields of laboratory science and forensic investigation. During my studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, I gained practical laboratory experience where I learned essential safety protocols and developed a deep understanding of laboratory operations.
Further advancing my skills, I attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where I specialized in various branches of forensic science. I had the opportunity to work at the Mortuary for Human Identification, gaining direct exposure to real-world forensic casework. My academic training and practical experience include:
These experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of forensic science, as well as the ability to work meticulously in high-pressure environments.
As a group of students we were required to work with our lecturer who was responsible for the Human Identification Unit ( Doing fingerprints, tattoo identification, dental formula count).This was mainly done on the bodies that were not collected at the mortuary after a long time to try and re identify them.
